Most of our other dogs were lovable mutts, so we are still getting used to the wonderful world of springy Springers! Love 'em! Give the dogs a cookie for me! Paula
Dogs, something I really relate to [although we are more terrier driven: Maggie was a scottie and the alpha bitch (and I mean that literally, although she loved Bill and I, she wasn't sure of other people); Rocky McDuff was a Cairn and (don't tell the others) my favoritest dog of all times, his sudden death (in the car, a unfound tumor caused his pancreas to rupture) was really difficult; Jamieson is a puppymill rescue scottie, after 6 or 7 years, still unsure of humans if they are upright; Schubert was our first adoption, a Schnoodle who at 17 is still with us (sway-backed, semi-bald and his mind went years ago); Wilkie came to us as a scottie, imagine our surprise when we opened the crate and this wiggly black fuzzy thing emerged -- part scottie part daushund part ? and now Bill's favorite; Callas and Tebbie were supposedly Italian greyhounds but seem to be more Italian greyhuahuas. Needless to say, I no longer do work for nor do Bill and I visit the site of the no-kill shelter (www.hua.org) but we love our dogs.]
I love jewelry whether it's funky, sparkly, classy, sentimental, whatever it is--I love jewelry. I only have one neck, so I sell some of what I make on Etsy.com and at arts festivals. If you need some custom jewelry for a special occasion or just for fun, I would love to work with you!
I truly believe that the love someone puts into the jewelry she makes is there when another person wears the jewelry. I don't think it is any accident that so many of the world's religions use beads for spiritual practices. There is something very special about beads.
